I’m finally posting on the blog after a long gap, owing to a very fun but exhausting wedding, a hectic schedule at work and procrastination! I keep telling myself that I deserved the break because I’ve worked my ass off, et cetera, et cetera but that’s a lie. I’m a slave to lollygagging.
Well, my blog this week is yet another collaboration with The Hoozinc Store! The last time I walked in there, I picked up so many cute things that I don’t need but don’t have the heart to let go of either. So I am blogging about some of them. That’s one of the perks of being a blogger. When you catch yourself spending money like Kim Kardarshian, you can always make it seem like an investment you’re making for the blog!
I was never a “Potter Head” so to say, but I did quite enjoy the Harry Potter series. I just finished reading the new one, ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ and in my opinion it wasn’t one of Rowling’s best works. In fact, she writes under the pseudonym, ‘Robert Galbariath’ and those books are really fun to read. They are a series about a detective, Cormoron Strike and his secretary, Robin and each book shows them solving a new case! I’m currently reading the latest one called ‘Career of Evil’ which is quite a gripping one.
I picked up a white spray t-shirt with the four houses at Hogwarts and styled it with a suede button-down skirt in olive and high-tops. My favourite though is the 3D note-book because I’m a 6-year-old when it comes to stationary! Meanwhile, I’m sure you’ve already noticed that my scar is not on the same side as Harry’s and that’s because my skill of laterally inverting objects is next to nil.
The temperatures are dropping like no man’s business (Come on Hyderabad!) so I also got this slouchy batman sweatshirt and I’m loving how soft and comfortable it is. My photographer, Vamsi insisted on me flaunting the Joker’s look despite telling him several times that I don’t need make-up to look like a clown, I do a fine job without it too. I paired the sweater with distressed jeans from Zara and my All-Stars that I’ve worn for the first time in about 7 years! Am I the only one who thinks that All Stars are very heavy?
Both my looks are super casual and can be carried from day to night. Most of the stuff at Hoozinc is like that. It’s quirky and comfortable so you can wear it a lot.
If you’re in Hyderabad, go check out the Hoozinc Store and if you’re not, go pick all their stuff online from hoozinc.com! Oh, and it’s holiday time! No better place to shop for personalized gifts than the Hoozinc Store, trust me.
